ECUHARD is an ECU file service for tuning workshops, tuners and dealers all over the world. Every solution is written by our engineers, tested on a dyno, and then applied automatically whenever the same job comes back.

Who we serve

ECUHARD serves tuning workshops, independent tuners and dealers all over the world. You upload the original read of your customer's ECU, choose the operations you need, and download the finished file (checksum correction is a separate, optional operation on supported ECUs).

How our files are made

Every solution is written by our engineers with professional tuning tools: WinOLS, StageX, ECM Titanium and our own Tuning Editor, which we develop ourselves. Each file is tested on a dyno before it is added to the system and sent to customers.

How the AI works

The AI does not invent map changes. It applies solutions that our engineers have already written and tested.

When the same job comes back, the AI compares the incoming file with the stored solution byte by byte and by software (SW) number. When both match, it confirms that it is the same vehicle and the same software and applies the solution automatically. Jobs without a matching solution are handled by an engineer.

Open files, nothing hidden

Our files are not encrypted. They are master files that can be opened and inspected with any tool.
In our own ECUHARD Tuning Editor, users can inspect the calibrations inside their files themselves.
Because they are master files, they can also be checked by other businesses or independent experts.
The AI applies a stored solution only when the file and SW number match byte for byte, and every solution has already passed an engineer, a dyno test and a user test. Without an exact match nothing is applied and the job goes to an engineer.
Each solution shows its trust level; after it has been used 30 times it is marked as approved, giving users additional assurance.

How a solution earns its approval

If a result is not as expected, the user reports it, we send a new solution, and the user tries it.
When this research and development ends with a proper result, the solution counts as one use.
After 30 uses the solution becomes an approved solution.
Those uses come from different people, in different countries, on different vehicles, so approved solutions have been tested across many real conditions.

That is why trust in approved solutions is very high, and the proof is visible on the solution itself: its number of uses, its trust level and its approval status.

Our story

ECUHARD was founded in Türkiye in 2016. In 2026 the company moved to Georgia and continues to serve customers around the world from there. It is registered in Georgia as Individual Entrepreneur ECUHARD.

Founder

ECUHARD was founded and is run by Ömer Özer, a software engineer trained at Bilecik University (Software Engineering department). He works in Turkish and English and lives in Georgia. LinkedIn profile

ECUHARD MotoChip is a separate, independently owned company. It was founded in Türkiye by Barış Şimşek, who is its owner. Barış started as an intern in the ECUHARD workshop in Kartal, Istanbul, developed himself and then set up his own company under the name ECUHARD MotoChip. Its payment methods, taxation and invoicing are entirely separate from ECUHARD (Individual Entrepreneur ECUHARD, Georgia), and the same legal obligations apply. In its motorcycle section it has many dealers of its own; some dealers are shared between the two companies.

How long does a job take?

If a stored solution or automatic module already covers your file, it is applied automatically in about a second, at any hour. Only jobs that need an engineer take longer: each operation has a maximum working time (for example DPF/EGR off up to 60 minutes, Stage 1 up to 60 minutes, Stage 3 up to 180 minutes), counted in staff hours (Mon-Fri 10:00-19:00, Sat 10:00-17:00, Asia/Tbilisi). A job that arrives outside those hours starts at the next working time. The time for each operation is shown in the per-file price list on the pricing page.
